Custom steering wheels for the Mercedes-Benz GLA X156
The X156 GLA, built from 2013 to 2020, is a compact SUV with the A-Class underneath, up to the GLA 45 AMG. Its three-spoke wheel is easy to make special.
Which wheel does the builder show?
GLA cars built 2013 to 2017 have the three-spoke AMG Line wheel, with an OEM or a custom grip and a flat bottom or square shape. From 2017 to 2020 the GLA has the later sport three-spoke, flat-bottomed as standard, with a sport or square shape as options. Pick your years in the builder and it shows the right wheel.
Compact SUVs see a lot of town driving, so the sides of the rim are usually the first to wear smooth.
What you can change on your GLA wheel
- Shape: on the AMG Line wheel an OEM or custom grip with a flat bottom or square shape; on the 2014+ wheel the OEM shape, a sport grip or a square shape.
- Top and bottom: leather, carbon fibre, forged carbon, piano black, or wood: Burl Walnut, Matte Light Brown Poplar.
- Sides: leather, perforated leather or Alcantara.
- Details: a wrapped trim, a leather or Alcantara airbag cover, and a 12 o'clock stripe in yellow, white, red, orange or black.
- Functions: the wheel's electronics and paddle shifters, heating and lane assist vibration.

Before you order
Every wheel starts from an original Mercedes-Benz core: send us your own, or we source one for you. We rebuild everything you see and touch, and when we source a wheel we pick the best core we can find.
If your car has a driver airbag, remove the unit before sending your wheel and keep it at home; we never ship airbag units. When the wheel comes back, have the airbag refitted by a qualified mechanic.
