Custom steering wheels for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213
The pre-facelift W213 E-Class was built from 2016 to 2020 as a saloon, estate, coupe and cabriolet. It is a car for long distances, and a wheel built to your taste makes every one of them better.
This page covers the W213 saloon, the S213 estate, the C238 coupe and the A238 cabriolet, built 2016 to 2020.
Which wheel does the builder show?
Every E-Class W213 on this page has the sport three-spoke wheel Mercedes introduced in 2014, flat-bottomed as standard, with a sport or square shape as options.
E-Class cars cover long motorway miles, so the lower half of the rim, where the hands rest, usually wears first.
What you can change on your E-Class wheel

- Details: a wrapped trim, a leather or Alcantara airbag cover, and a 12 o'clock stripe in yellow, white, red, orange or black.
- Functions: the wheel's electronics and paddle shifters, heating and lane assist vibration.
Build ideas for the E-Class
Flowing lines: the OEM shape with Piano Black Flowing Lines top and bottom, matching the trim found in many W213 interiors.
E 63 look: the square shape with carbon fibre, Alcantara sides and a white 12 o'clock stripe.
Classic: Burl Walnut top and bottom with perforated leather sides.
Before you order
Every wheel starts from an original Mercedes-Benz core: send us your own, or we source one for you. We rebuild everything you see and touch, and when we source a wheel we pick the best core we can find.
If your car has a driver airbag, remove the unit before sending your wheel and keep it at home; we never ship airbag units. When the wheel comes back, have the airbag refitted by a qualified mechanic.
E-Class steering wheel questions
Is Piano Black Flowing Lines a wood?
It is a gloss black finish with fine silver lines, as offered in the W213, and you choose it under Wood in the builder.
How long does it take?
Most builds take one to two weeks in our workshop. We email you photos of the finished wheel to approve, then it ships to you anywhere in the world.
