Custom steering wheels for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W203
The W203 C-Class was built from 2000 to 2007, from the C 180 to the C 55 AMG. After two decades of daily driving its steering wheel is usually the most worn part of the cabin, and a rebuilt one changes how the whole car feels.
This page covers the W203 saloon, the S203 estate and the CL203 sports coupe, built 2000 to 2007.
Which wheel does the builder show?
The builder offers both wheels the W203 was sold with: the four-spoke multifunction wheel and the sporty three-spoke. Choose the one in your car and the builder shows every option for it.
Most W203 wheels now have worn grips at 9 and 3 o'clock and a smooth, shiny top where the hands rest on long drives.

Build ideas for the C-Class
C 55 look: the three-spoke with a flat bottom, carbon fibre top and bottom, Alcantara sides and a red 12 o'clock stripe.
Classic walnut: the four-spoke with Burl Walnut top and bottom and smooth leather, a timeless finish for the saloon.
Maple: the three-spoke in its OEM shape with Birds Eye Maple and perforated leather.
Before you order
Every wheel starts from an original Mercedes-Benz core: send us your own, or we source one for you. We rebuild everything you see and touch, and when we source a wheel we pick the best core we can find.
If your car has a driver airbag, remove the unit before sending your wheel and keep it at home; we never ship airbag units. When the wheel comes back, have the airbag refitted by a qualified mechanic.
C-Class steering wheel questions
Which wheel does my W203 have?
Compare your wheel with the two in the builder: one has four spokes, the other three. If you are not sure, send us a photo and we will tell you.
Can the three-spoke have a leather top and bottom?
With a sport grip, yes. In its OEM shape the top and bottom are wood, carbon fibre, forged carbon or piano black, with leather around the rest of the rim.
How long does it take?
Most builds take one to two weeks in our workshop. We email you photos of the finished wheel to approve, then it ships to you anywhere in the world.
