Custom steering wheels for the BMW Z4 E85 and E86
The first Z4, the E85 roadster and the E86 coupe, was built from 2002 to 2008. In a small sports car the wheel is right in front of you all the time, and a rebuilt one changes how the whole car feels.

Which wheel does the builder show?
The three-spoke M Sport wheel of the E46 era, which the Z4 shares with the E46 3 Series. The builder shows it with every option for your car.
A roadster wheel lives in the sun, so the leather is often dry, faded or cracked by now.
What you can change on your Z4 wheel
- Shape: the OEM shape, a clean or a sporty flat bottom, or a square shape.
- Top and bottom: leather, carbon fibre, forged carbon, piano black or wood: Walnut, Light Poplar Wood, Dark Poplar Wood.
- Sides: smooth nappa, perforated leather or Alcantara.
- Trim: the spoke trim in Alcantara, carbon, forged carbon or piano black.
- 12 o'clock stripe: M tricolour, yellow, white, red, orange or black.

Before you order
This wheel is built on the one from your car: send it to us, we rebuild it in our workshop and send it back. We cannot supply this wheel ourselves.
Remove the airbag unit before sending your wheel and keep it at home; we never ship airbag units. When the wheel comes back, have the airbag refitted by a qualified mechanic.

Does it fit both the roadster and the coupe?
Yes. The E85 roadster and the E86 coupe use the same wheel.
Can you supply the wheel?
Not this one. We build on your own wheel, so you send it to us and we return it rebuilt.
How long does it take?
Most builds take one to two weeks once your wheel is with us. We email you photos of the finished wheel to approve, then it ships back to you anywhere in the world.
