Custom steering wheels for the BMW X4
The F26 X4 was built from 2014 to 2018, including the X4 M40i. It is the sportiest of the F-series SUVs, and our square and flat bottom shapes suit it well.

Which wheel does the builder show?
The X4 F26 shares the X3's version of the M Sport wheel, and the M wheel trim fits it too. Either one fits every X4, including the M40i. The builder shows both, and every option can be previewed on either.
Because the X4 is driven like a sporty coupe, the rim sides usually wear early. A square or flat bottom shape with Alcantara grips turns that into an upgrade.
What you can change on your X4 wheel
- Shape: the OEM shape, a sport grip, a clean or an aggressive flat bottom, or a clean or an aggressive square shape.
- Top and bottom: leather, carbon fibre, forged carbon, piano black or wood: Burled Walnut, Fineline Brown, Poplar Wood.
- Sides: smooth nappa, perforated leather or Alcantara.
- Trim: the centre trim in Alcantara, carbon, forged carbon or piano black.
- Airbag cover: wrapped in leather or Alcantara.
- 12 o'clock stripe: M tricolour, yellow, white, red, orange or black.
- Functions: the wheel's electronics and paddle shifters, heating and lane assist vibration.

Before you order
You choose the core: a genuine BMW wheel we refurbish, a new aftermarket wheel, or the wheel already in your car. Button layouts differ between BMWs, depending on the options fitted, so we check yours with you once the order is in.
If you send your own wheel, take the airbag out first and keep it safe at home, because airbag units cannot be shipped. A qualified mechanic should refit it when your wheel is back.
X4 steering wheel questions
Does the square shape get in the way when turning?
No. The flat sections sit at the top and bottom, where your hands do not rest, so turning feels the same.
Can I have a red 12 o'clock stripe instead of the M colours?
Yes. The stripe comes in M tricolour, yellow, white, red, orange or black.
How long does it take?
Most builds take one to two weeks in our workshop. We email you photos of the finished wheel to approve, then it ships to you anywhere in the world.
