Custom steering wheels for the BMW 4 Series
The 4 Series coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe were built from 2013 to 2020, alongside the F82 and F83 M4. Its wheel is the same F-series M Sport design as the 3 Series, so you get the full range of shapes, from the OEM round wheel to our most aggressive flat bottom.

Which wheel does the builder show?
The 4 Series shares its wheel with the 3 Series: the M Sport wheel on M Sport cars and the M wheel on the M4. Either one fits the coupe, the convertible, the Gran Coupe and the M4. The builder shows both, and every option can be previewed on either.
Convertibles get sun on the wheel, which dries and cracks the leather over time. A new rim with fresh leather or Alcantara solves it for good.
What you can change on your 4 Series wheel
- Shape: the OEM shape, a sport grip, a clean or an aggressive flat bottom, or a clean or an aggressive square shape.
- Top and bottom: leather, carbon fibre, forged carbon, piano black or wood: Burled Walnut, Ash Grain Wood, Dark Burl Walnut Wood.
- Sides: smooth nappa, perforated leather or Alcantara.
- Trim: the centre trim in Alcantara, carbon, forged carbon or piano black.
- Airbag cover: wrapped in leather or Alcantara.
- 12 o'clock stripe: M tricolour, yellow, white, red, orange or black.
- Functions: the wheel's electronics and paddle shifters, heating and lane assist vibration.

Before you order
We build your wheel on a genuine BMW core, refurbished in our workshop, or on a new aftermarket core, whichever you choose. You can also send us your own wheel. The buttons on BMW wheels vary with each car's options, so after you order we confirm your car's layout with you before we start.
Remove the airbag unit before sending your wheel and keep it at home; we never ship airbag units. When the wheel comes back, have the airbag refitted by a qualified mechanic.
4 Series steering wheel questions
Does a flat bottom change anything else in the car?
No. Only the shape of the rim changes; the airbag, wiring and fitment stay original.
Can you match my interior colour?
Yes. Choose the leather colour in the builder; the preview shows black, and we build it in the colour you pick.
How long does it take?
Most builds take one to two weeks in our workshop. We email you photos of the finished wheel to approve, then it ships to you anywhere in the world.
