About the Becker BE2045 Europa
The BE2045 is a Becker radio sold under Becker's own Europa name. It is one of the rarer units in our lookup, and it uses a four digit code tied to its serial number.
How to tell it is a BE2045
Becker used the Europa name on radios over many years, so the name alone does not tell you which code system yours uses. Go by the BE number on the label: if it reads BE2045, this is the right page.
Where to find the serial number
The serial is on the label on the radio housing, next to Serial-No., on the same label as the model number. We only need its last four digits. If a digit is hard to read, photograph the label and zoom in: a misread digit gives a code that will not work.

If the code is not accepted
Stop and contact us rather than trying other codes. After repeated wrong entries a Becker radio shows WAIT and refuses new attempts for a while. The lockout only counts down while the radio is switched on, so leave it on until the message clears. If the code we sent does not work, we refund you.
