Wo finde ich die Seriennummer?
Die Seriennummer befindet sich auf demselben Etikett neben Seriennummer. Wenn eine Ziffer schwer zu lesen ist, fotografieren Sie das Etikett und vergrößern Sie das Bild. Eine falsch gelesene Ziffer ergibt einen Code, der nicht funktioniert.

About the Becker BE1150
The BE1150 (sometimes written BE 1150) is a Becker built radio that Mercedes-Benz sold as the Classic, under Mercedes part number A 003 820 29 86. Like every Becker unit, it asks for its anti-theft code once it has lost power, for example after the battery was disconnected or the radio was taken out of the car, and it will not play again until the right code is entered.
The BE1150 code is not a four digit number. It is a sequence of 5 presses on the station preset buttons, using buttons 1 to 4. That is why a four digit code from a forum or a free code generator will never work on this radio.
How to tell it is a BE1150
Go by the model number, not the name. Several Becker radios were sold as the Mercedes-Benz Classic, including the BE1151, BE2010 and BE2011, and each one is a separate model with its own codes. The model number is on the label on the radio housing, next to Model-No., so you will usually need to slide the radio out of the dashboard to read it.
Where to find the serial number
The serial is on the same label, next to Serial-No. We only need its last four digits. If a digit is hard to read, photograph the label and zoom in: a misread digit gives a code that will not work.
Checking for your BE1150 code

Entering the code
Switch the radio on. When it asks for the code, press the numbered station buttons in the order given in your email, one press for each number. Your email shows the exact sequence for your serial number.
If the code is not accepted
Stop and contact us rather than trying other codes. After repeated wrong entries a Becker radio shows WAIT and refuses new attempts for a while. The lockout only counts down while the radio is switched on, so leave it on until the message clears. If the code we sent does not work, we refund you.

Is there a Becker BE1150 code calculator?
No. Becker codes are not worked out from the serial number by a formula. They were assigned and recorded, so getting your code means looking it up against your serial number, which is what the check above does. A tool that calls itself a BE1150 code calculator is either guessing or doing the same kind of lookup.
Is the radio code the same as the unlock code or security code?
Yes. Radio code, unlock code, security code and anti-theft code all mean the same thing here: the button sequence tied to your radio's serial number.
Can I use the code from another Classic radio?
No. Each code belongs to one serial number, so a code from another unit, even another BE1150, will not unlock yours.
What if you do not have my code?
Then the check tells you so before you pay, and you pay nothing.
