Mercedes Audio 10 Radio Code (Becker BE3100, BE3101, BE3200)

Wo finde ich die Modellnummer?
Die Modellnummer beginnt mit BE gefolgt von vier Ziffern. Sie befindet sich auf dem Etikett oben auf dem Radiogehäuse neben Modellnummer, sodass Sie die Einheit normalerweise aus dem Armaturenbrett schieben müssen, um sie zu lesen.

Wo finde ich die Seriennummer?

Three radios called Audio 10
Mercedes-Benz used the Audio 10 name on several Becker radios. This page covers the three most common:
- BE3100, Mercedes part number A 210 820 09 86, a cassette radio. Its code is five numbers, each from 1 to 4, entered on the station preset buttons.
- BE3101, which takes the same kind of code as the BE3100: five numbers from 1 to 4.
- BE3200, Mercedes part number A 208 820 03 86, a cassette radio with a removable front panel. Its code is five numbers from 1 to 6, and it is entered differently (see below).
Because the names are the same, go by the BE number on the label. Pick it in the form above and the check uses the right code system for that model.
Entering the code on a BE3100
According to the operating instructions for the Audio 10 BE3100:
- Switch the radio on. The display shows CODE.
- Enter each number of the code with the buttons 1 to 4. The position you are on is underlined and blinks.
- After the last number you can still correct the code as often as you like.
- Confirm the finished code by pressing one of the arrow keys (left, right, up or down). The radio then starts playing.
Entering the code on a BE3200
On the BE3200 the display also shows CODE, but the numbers are chosen with the right-hand knob: turn it until the number you need appears, press it to move to the next position, and repeat for all five numbers.
Where to find the serial number
The serial is on the label on the radio housing, next to Serial-No., on the same label as the model number. We only need its last four digits. If a digit is hard to read, photograph the label and zoom in: a misread digit gives a code that will not work.

Checking for your code
Enter the last four digits of the serial in the form above. The check is free and tells you straight away whether your code is on record. If it is, you pay once and the code is emailed to you automatically, usually within minutes of payment, at any hour. If it is not, you pay nothing.

If the code is not accepted
Stop and contact us rather than trying other codes. On the BE3100, three wrong codes bring up WAIT and lock the radio for 10 minutes, and that time only runs while the radio is switched on, so leave it on. If the code we sent does not work, we refund you.

Is there a Mercedes Audio 10 code calculator?
No. Becker codes are not worked out from the serial number by a formula. They were assigned and recorded, so getting your code means looking it up against your serial number, which is what the check above does.
Is the radio code the same as the unlock code or security code?
Yes. Radio code, unlock code, security code and anti-theft code all mean the same thing here: the code tied to your radio's serial number.
What if you do not have my code?
Then the check tells you so before you pay, and you pay nothing.
My Audio 10 has a CD player. Is it on this page?
No. The Audio 10 CD units are different radios. Find yours by its BE number on the full list of Becker radios.
